I cannot recommend Etre Marie more highly. I was recommended by a few people to visit after some not so great experiences and Georgia made me feel so at ease and actually enjoy the experience of finding my dress! There is no judgement, no upselling and no pressure to buy there and then. The first of 5 dresses I tried on was the one. It was actually one of Georgia’s own designs which made it that much more special to support a local Gold Coast gal! I did have another appointment and Georgia encouraged me to still go and then decide. It was a no brainer though and my heart was set on her dress. I ordered the dress in January and it arrived 3 weeks before my wedding in May. A few alterations were required and Georgia has a great seamstress who was able to complete the additional work. All in all it ended up being an amazing experience and I’m so so happy I went to Etre Marie.

She made the whole experience for me so comfortable and was all about listening and helping me find the dress I wanted! When I first walked in to être marié bridal boutique I felt at ease and comfortable. The owner, Georgia, was amazing she made you feel comfortable and brings out the inner goddess.
At no time did I feel pressured into buying a dress. With my bridal fitting I also purchased nibbles and drinks which made the fitting more relaxed and fun. In être marié, Not only were the dresses gorgeous and well priced, the designer, Georgia, made the entire experience something I just couldn't stop talking about all day. The store is beautifully decorated, and was a comfortable and luxurious place where my friend could safely explore her options. Georgia was so accommodating and it is such a unique experience to be trying on the dresses with the designer in the same room, allowing for feedback and giving you immediate solutions to small adjustments you would like done on your dress. I've watched this store since its inception - lights coming in, then colours on the walls, then the dresses etc and finally I had a reason to walk in as a customer. Georgia, the face and mind behind all this beauty, was kind, genuine and patient. She gave me little longer than what I had booked for, inquired about my needs/likes and gave me information no website or other experts could. She did not push me or get straight into sales-mode. I left feeling relaxed and excited about my big day.
She also designs her own dresses and works very closely with the maker so she can accommodate for your likes/needs/extra bits and pieces.
