DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes, due to the nature of our bookings being private, you do require an appointment. This allows us to ensure we have the studio free for you and your loved ones, privately. We also offer nibbles & drinks at appointments if you'd like to make a day out of it!
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Using our online booking system, you can select an appropriate time, for in store or virtual bookings! If for any reason your desired time isn't available or showing, please feel free to contact us via email on - firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you've secured your booking, please fill out the brief pre-appointment questionnaire.
IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
We operate by appointment only there for being able to accommodate limited number of brides. We do ask that you give us at least 48 hour’s notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your fitting. Under 12 hours from the appointment, if you've chosen to add nibbles & drinks to your appointment, the fitting fee will not be refunded. You can however reschedule within 48 hours. We thank you for your understanding.
CAN I BRING GUESTS TO MY APPOINTMENT?
At our Nerang boutique, we have seating room for 3 of your nearest and dearest. We want to make the experience about you but understand it’s a special time to share. We find too many opinions can overwhelm your decision. Our goal is to make the process of finding your perfect dress as stress free as we can. We offer complimentary second visits so you are always welcome to bring back your guests to reveal the one. All guests are required to sign in upon entry following Covid-19 guidelines.
HOW LONG DO THE SHOWROOM APPOINTMENTS RUN FOR?
Bridal appointments go for one hour, which includes the time you'll try gowns on, enjoy your nibbles and if you find your dream dress have the option to enjoy a glass of champagne! As we run on appointment only, we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to your appointment, allow time to get a park and use the bathroom if needed prior. Unfortunately if you are running behind and we are fully booked on the day, this may take out time from your allocate appointment!
DO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT DRESSES I LIKE FROM ÊTRE MARIÉ PRIOR?
When completing your pre-appointment form, it is highly recommended that you list any être marié gowns that have caught your eye! If you've found a front runner elsewhere, or haven't tried on any dresses at all yet, that is okay. By listing as much information as possible prior, will help us to take the overwhelm and stress out of the daunting parts of finding your gown!
AM I REQUIRED TO PURCHASE MY GOWN ON THE DAY?
We understand it can take time to make your decision. You are not required to purchase on the day. You are welcome to come and try on your own or with a loved one and come back for a second fitting once you've found your gown! Or you can continue speaking to your stylist via email until you're ready. If booking for a second appointment, please let us know at the time of booking.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY CONSULTATION?
We get it, life happens! We do kindly ask that you provide 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule as we are a small boutique showroom and can only see a very limited number of brides in a day.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Your beautiful self, wear nude seamless underwear, minimal to no makeup and no tanning products. You can also bring along your favourite nude strapless bra or adhesive cups if you wish.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM GOWNS?
Typically, not. We do however work closely with our designers and depending on your wishes and the style, we can make personalised adjustments. We also recommend highly a local seamstress, who makes custom gowns and is extremely experienced with bridal alterations and adjustments!
HOW IS MY DRESS MADE IN REGARD TO SIZING?
All our designer gowns are made to order. This means your gown is submitted into production and starts getting made for you upon paying your deposit. It’s important to remember your gown will be made to your closest standard size (sizes 2-16, or plus 18-30) based on measurements taken in store. Your gown is not made to your exact measurements as this is referred to as more of a custom process
To achieve and ensure the perfect fit every bride will need to visit a seamstress. We have a professional bridal seamstress who we can recommend for any alterations or adjustments!
CAN I PURCHASE DIRECTLY FROM YOUR SHOWROOM & WALK OUT WITH MY GOWN?
All of our dresses live on a short rotation compared to some stores. We do not want to become a warehouse, with the same gowns sitting on racks for years at a time, as our styles can change as much as we change our hair colour! So the styles are all fairly limited sample wise. Due to this unfortunately we do not offer 'off the rack' sales, unless the style has been discontinued or there is another we can get for our store sample immediately. We want to make sure that all brides have the chance to choose from all current gowns when visiting être marié bridal boutique.
